I am Sumo Joe formerly know as Joseph Robertson.....I am one of many champions of the Underground Sumo Federation. I began my quest my Sumo Statis 10 years ago. I am now part of the Grand Council and have earn a position of the staff of the Merque DeMar, as his personal body gaurd. I was at a early age a son of a tera-farmer and was brough to Mars from Earth to help build with my family a Rice plantation. My father, Jon Robertson was a pround business with a dream to help feed the masses that were now calling Mars their home. But due to a political unrest and a different stance that my father took, he was imprisioned and we were all kick from our new homes. I was the oldest son and so it feel on me to make ends meat. I start work at twevel for a old junk hauler named Sam Yoni. I made good money enought to keep my brothers and sisters in school in hopes that the streets would not swollow them up. My mother Meku contracted the Mars flu that three years later and died. I was only 15 but was head on my family now. I told Jake my younger brother of 2 years that he would have to make sure that Tina age 11 ran things at the house. I had saved enough money to go and look for new work plus Jake was old enough and nearly as big to help with Sam Yoni trading. Sam was like a uncle to us. I went to the Underground to look for the a Sumo Master to train me. I heard that big kids like me would be a shoe in. I had to go underground due to teh fact that Pro Mars Sumo was only for true Neo Japaness to compete. Since I was a Half Blood or what they call Taozi I was force and treated differently above ground. I was able to get on with Master Tameko. Within a year I was already at rank 4 and move up fast. Level or rank 4 is like semi pro. once you are Rank 8 you are a Pro and get shares of the betting based winnings.
