Factory Samples and Site Migration

We've been pretty busy here at the Last house this past week. On Friday Jawn and I went out to Ly & Le Sewing to take a look at the first Hakama sample they had sewn up for us. I'm pleased to report that they have turned out really well. Not only does this mean that we're now ready to roll with our first production run but also, to my personal satisfaction, my patterns and sewing instructions worked.
Now that our patterns and construction are finalized it's time for us to clear out our cupboards.

Later this week we'll be putting some of our prototype Hakama up for sale on our Etsy store. These will be a little cheaper than the production garments so if you've been hankering after on this is the time to buy. Also, these will likely be the last Hakama sewn by Jawn and myself that will be available for sale so this is an opportunity to get a hold of a piece of Lastwear history.

In other news, we've just signed up with a new web host and we'll be migrating the site over the next two weeks so the site may experience some down time during that period. Once we've finished the move you can look forward to an updated store which may even have products for sale in it.

Well that's all the news for now.
